Sun Residence is a single-family house located at suburb of Chengdu. With the surrounding residential buildings overlooking at the site and client’s demand of common space for family gathering, greyoffice aims at inserting a structure with a screen system that offers both privacy and inner gathering space.
All the amenity spaces are integrated into the three structural massings which leaves the rest of space a total open-plan. A continuous slab offsets from the structural perimeter, which connects each room with a luxurious balcony space. At the most outside installs a well detailed screen system that can be folded or open at different time of the day as client’s needs.
